Announcing the Joe Maverick Art Contest!

Hey all! HaxDev here with a special announcement!

Are you a fan of Joe Maverick?! Are you not a fan and just want to know what this is about?? Then keep reading, because this is important!

To celebrate the non demo version of the game coming on December 25th, I'm holding the game's very first art contest. If this goes well, I'll do it sometime in the future as well. Are you excited? Great!

Here are the rules for the contest:

• The deadline for submissions is Christmas Day (December 25th.) Anything after that day will not be accepted for the contest.

• Your submission must be wholly created by you. That means, no AI of any sort.

• All art mediums are accepted.

• The content of the art must adhere to an ESRB Teen rating.

• The content must relate to the game and its world in some fashion. You can just draw a background if you want! You're also free to draw characters not present in the game's demo.

• The winners of the contest will be decided by me personally, and will be announced shortly after Christmas.

Here are the prizes:

• All participants: Your art will be entered into the game's fan art gallery.

• 3rd place: 10$ + Steam code of the game when it comes out.

• 2nd place: 25$ + Steam code of the game when it comes out.

• 1st place: 50$ + Steam code of the game when it comes out + A Steam code for the game "Bullet Heaven 2."

  • All cash prizes will be given via Paypal.

Here's how to enter. You only need to do one of these for it to count:

• Email me your submission at akagitoumaxx@gmail.com . That's "Akagi Touma," as in the guy from Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE. Don't misspell it!

• DM me your submission on Discord. My username is thehaxman. You can also post it in the official discord server under the #general art category.

• Post your submission on Twitter and mention me, or just DM me on Twitter @TheHaxDev.

• Post your submission on Deviantart and mention my username. It's @Hax-Dev.

Sounds cool, right? I hope so. This is my first time hosting one of these, so I hope a few people enter. I'm imagining just one guy submitting something and getting first place by default. Lol.

If you don't know anything about Joe Maverick and want to learn more so you can submit art, playing the currently released demo on Steam will introduce you to the characters. Alternatively, if you want to see characters not in the game, check out my deviantart here. (The art is old and really bad though...) There's slight spoilers if you do that though, so I don't really recommend it.
