Hey all! Welcome back to my game journal series. Today is a rather special edition; it's my 100th game journal entry. Isn't that amazing? When I first started this project 6 years ago, I had no idea that it'd take me this long (and that I'd have a result like this) but here we are. It's actually pretty cool to think about.
Of course, since it's the hundredth journal I wanted to do something special to celebrate that fact. Therefore, I wanted to make sure that I had the first level finished before posting. It made it come out a little later than usual, but the entirety of the Detective Office is now finished! And wait... does that mean...? Yes, it does! Erika now has her own ingame 3D model. Woah! I'll tell you all about it below, so keep reading!

How does Joe feel about his game's first level being complete?
As I stated in a previous journal, I created a drawing to celebrate this entry. Of course, by the time I finished it I had no desire to paint it, so... it's in the state you see now. I think it's still pretty good though, so I've inserted it regardless. I've been doing graphical stuff all week to finish the detective office, so I didn't really feel like making a finished piece... speaking of finished pieces, I've created Erika's 3D model.

She looks pretty good, right? I'm rather shocked myself. She was my first ever female model, which is why I delayed making her for so long. However, after creating all the other 3D models for the office I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, it wasn't all that hard. All I had to do was start from Joe's model, and make the proportions more feminine. So, yay.
Of course, now that the first level is complete, you can also download the new demo version with it being playable. I hope it's to your liking! As always, feel free to comment below with your thoughts.
