Hey everyone! Welcome back to my game journal series. It's a bit abbreviated, but I still made some progress, so let's get into it.

Firstly, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to quit my second job by the end of October. My game will be finished to the point that I can justify working on it all the time, so I really don't need a second job anymore. That, and it's in a restaurant, so many times I find myself bored when there's no business. I really don't like being bored more than anything, so yeah.

Okay! So getting into the game stuff. This week I've decided to try and get as much essential stuff as I can done before September 30th, which is when the Steam Turn Based Fest is. I hadn't done art in a while, so I decided to start with that first. As a result, I've finally painted all of Matt Choman's sprites.

And yes, if you've been paying attention, he's the same guy as that stock photo I use for everything. If you know, you know. Bit of an inside joke.

Also, do you remember last time where I said that I'd be adding two new shopkeepers? I've designed them both. John is on the left and Valorant is on the right.

You can kinda tell what they offer just by looking, right? I think they're some of my more successful character designs. As a reminder, John is the representative of the Church (where you'll be able to buy holy items) and Valorant is the leader of the Cultist Hideout (where you can buy hexes and stuff.) I still have to make themes for both places, so for now I'm using some SMT music as a placeholder. (Seriously that game is amazing, please play it on the Playstation 1.)

I also did some more minor art in other places as well. You'll see it in the video below. Unfortunately I wasn't really able to get around to coding the stuff that I wanted, but I should have it done by next week. So I'll see you then!
