Hello all! Welcome back to my game journal series. I've got a lot of stuff to talk about, so let's get into it.

First of all, I've registered my game for Steam's RPG Fest next week. I wasn't sure if I was going to be let in because I had to appeal, but I got approved a few hours after I submitted it. So that's great! The event starts on September 30th, so I've got to have the next build out before then. I'm thinking the 29th or 28th. That version will be 0.9, and then the demo version released for Next Fest SHOULD be 1.0. We'll see.

Second of all, I added the rest of the shopkeeper images in, along with a lot of other graphical things needed for the demo. I'm really just trying to get the game as functional and pretty looking as I can within a week... which is definitely an uphill battle, but I think it's possible. It kinda feels like a school project I've gotta get done no matter what.

Other than that, I did a little bit of work on the battle system to make it just right. It's pretty much complete, and I'll continue tweaking it as I get player feedback.

You can see all the changes I've made in the video below as usual. I'll do my best to have a suitable game in a few days for you to play... I do hope that people enjoy it. I will say that I fixed a really awful bug with the loading screen where the screen would go away and the level wasn't loaded yet, which makes me really happy.

Thanks for following my development as usual.
