But first, a life update. I read another Phillip K Dick book, since I rented out a bunch from the library. I was beginning to become disillusioned with his writing because of all the cheating (ugh) and the general disgust I felt while attempting to read and finish "Counterclock World." I actually can't remember the last time I couldn't finish a book, so that's rather impressive. In fact, that book was so terrible, I was starting to wonder why I even liked his writing to begin with... but then! I read "Eye in the Sky," a sci fi book about a particle accelerator accident that sends a bunch of people into an alternate reality, and wow. I actually couldn't put it down. It was really amazing! I loved all the characters, especially the main one, Jack Hamilton. He's smart, knows a ton about physics, loves his wife and rejects thots (SO RARE IN A DICK NOVEL, I SWEAR) and is hilariously cynical. You could TECHNICALLY say there's still cheating, because he kissed another woman whilst in an alternate reality where sex didn't exist (yeah, really) and he wanted to see if he could make it reappear for scientific purposes, but other than that, there was none whatsoever. Man, it was so refreshing to see. He reminded me of Joe a little bit, what with the sarcasm and the direct personality he had. Overall, really awesome book. Check it out if you get a chance!

Hey guys! Got another update for ya. It's been a little delayed, since I had a lot of stuff to do, and I also had midterms for school. But, I managed to get some more work done on the battle system! Woot! It's been a bit more complicated than I expected, but I'm making progress a little at a time.

-Fixed visual bug on shopkeeper screen.
-Remade Chest popup widget visual.
-Edited Inventory ui visual.
-Added animation on battle screen.

-Remade how battle screen handles data, added a lot of animations, added Attack functionality
-Added First strike to battle
-Camera position changes based on enemy or player character
-Enemies look at the possessed character in battle.

10/30/22
-The leader always comes first when the first strike screen comes up.

-Added type icon to moves.
-Worked on battle ui

-Worked on battle mode
-Hot springs now functional.

Don't let that "Worked on battle ui" note fool you. I did a lot of different things. In fact, I did so many that I forgot what exactly they were, so I just put that as a general note. You'll see in the video!
