Hey everyone! Long time no post, I know. I've been finishing up the party portraits, and you can get them all as stickers on my Redbubble page! Woo!
Life-wise, I've cemented my plans to go to Arkansas in the summer. I'll be there for almost 2 weeks, so I think I'll get a pretty good feel for the place. Who knows, maybe I won't like it after all? Nah! I think it's a winner. But I'll only know when I actually get there.
Also life-wise, I replayed this game called Bakumatsu Rock on my Playstation Vita. I randomly remembered that there was an anime adaptation of it, so I watched it, and it made me want to play the video game again. This time however, I was pretty much able to understand the entire story (the game is in Japanese.) I was pretty surprised, since it's been a while since I've studied, but yeah. It was super cool!
The game's about these guys living in feudal Japan that have all music banned except for songs made by the government. The main character wants to be a guitarist, but doesn't like the government music, so he and some other guys make an impromptu rock band. It's pretty awesome.

Ryoma: Rock is Passion!
While the game itself is Japanese, a lot of the menus are in English (because the creators are westaboos) so I was able to play it when I was younger. Aside from the story mode, most of the gameplay is a rhythm game sorta like Guitar Hero. So I was able to play that, but I couldn't understand the story until now. Pretty cool, eh!
I also watched another anime called Karakuri Circus. It's the same mangaka that made Ushio to Tora (whose opening is in my game demo in the Theater section lol) and that was really great, too. I recommend giving it a watch if you like supernatural stuff and robots.
All that aside, I made a mini video showing off the game portraits a little. I haven't done anything else with the game besides that, so it's a little short. But next time, I'm planning on coding some more features in. We'll see!
