GAME JOURNALS

Hey all! Got a new game journal here for ya. As you can guess from the title... yeah, I finally completed the settings menu. I know, WOAH, right?! Groovy, even!

A page from the settings menu.

Before I go into it, it's life update time. I'm still in the process of buying my home in Arkansas, and it's progressing pretty nicely. It is an older home made in the 1900s (which I like) and it was vacant for a while too, so there's quite a bit of repairs I have to do before I can even move in. The seller was selling the home as-is so I'll probably have to pay for them all myself. Thankfully, FedEx is awesome, so I have a bit of savings other than my downpayment to use for it. Because of that though, I'm not sure how long the closing process will take. To complete the purchase, I have to provide proof that I'm going to transfer to Arkansas to work (because the home will be my primary residence.) Only problem is, I'm making more money here than I would down there, plus I have no idea when the house will be ready to move into. So I can't really provide a transfer date until I know I can move in. So yeah... it might even take until early next year for me to move. I'm not really bummed about it though. I like working at my job, so if I have to stay longer it's ok. I haven't told anyone I'm moving yet... I'm trying to delay it as long as possible. My co-workers are awesome.

Anyway, changelog time! ...Is what I would say, but I didn't write anything down. I thought it would be all small stuff, so I didn't bother writing anything. Turns out it wasn't so small after all lol. Well, you still get to see what I did in the video below. Yay.

Regarding game journal updates, they're probably going to be coming more frequently now. When I move out I'm going to have to support myself completely, so the sooner I can get my game done, the higher the probability is that I'll have more pocket change. Of course, it could also sell really badly, in which case I won't be surprised at all and continue to work on the sequel. It took ZUN 7 games to make Touhou well known, after all. Most people don't get it on their first try.
