GAME JOURNALS

Hey all! Welcome back to my game journal series. Today I'll be showing more of the 3D I've implemented, so stay tuned!

First of all... I just realized that I have 99 of these journals. NINETY-NINE!! WHAT?! Technically I have over 99 of them if you include the ones that are incrementally titled (.5, .75, and all that jazz) but yeah. That's pretty crazy. The next one will be my one hundredth one, which is equally as insane to me. I feel like I've gotta do something to celebrate it... maybe I'll draw something. That'd be pretty cool, eh!

Life-wise, it's the same old same old. I wake up, go to work, nap, code, exercise, work again, do a little net browsing, then sleep. That may be boring to some, but for me I like it very much. I just wanted a quiet life, and I got it. Can't complain! Although... recently I've been thinking about my future, specifically in terms of a relationship. I don't really talk to many people, so it's been a bit of a challenge to find a guy. I've been thinking once my game is further along I might meet someone, but idk. That'd be pretty awesome, like "Hey HaxDev, I'm a big Joe Maverick fan!" and he also wants to date me. ...That sounded a lot less cringey in my head before I wrote it out.

Anyway, this time I've modelled most of the 3D parts of the Detective Office. There's only a few items remaining, and then it'll be complete. Wahoo! I think I'll have them done by the next journal, which would also be very fitting for the hundredth journal in this series. Having the first level completely modelled is a big achievement, and having one hundred journals is an equally impressive one! So yeah.

Here is the video of me showcasing what I added. I hope you like the direction that the game is heading in! After this level is done, I'll start working on the first level in medieval times, which is the Westwood Kingdom. The second section of that level is when the "paid" section of the game begins (as it is where Chapter one starts. The Introduction is free.) Just as a reminder, the game will cost $4.99 until all 6 chapters are added in, at which then the game will cost 9.99. So get it on sale while you can!

To further clarify, the full version of the game will be released chapter by chapter. It won't be incremental like the demo build (with unfinished sections.) Each chapter is split into two parts. So I'll likely release one part at a time. I'm so excited for the future of the game, and hope you are as well!
