Joe Maverick is advancing to Beta!

Hey all! HaxDev here with another news update.

As you may know, the game's full demo is set to release this year. And it is!

But, of course... I'm pulling a Todd Howard here and redefining what "full" means. "Full" does not equal "finalized." As in, there will be yet another demo released in the future with more polish. However, everything in the game for the demo is functional. So while not all the art is done, you can play the game as you'd like without issue. Isn't that great! Ergo, the demo that I will be releasing will be in the beta phase of development.

I truly did mean to have the finalized demo out by this time. However, I didn't expect that I would spend four months trying to find a house to buy while bouncing from place to place. So due to that, the finalized demo has been pushed back to 2024. The good news, though? The whole entire game should also be done in 2024! Woo hoo! I'm rather excited about it, and I hope you are, too.

The demo will be releasing before the year's end, maybe on Christmas if I'm quick enough. If not, probably New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Either way, you'll be getting the demo, for sure! I'll keep the older demo up as well, just in case you want to see the differences between the two. But yeah. 2024 is the year of Joe Maverick, boys.

For the release, I'll have it on Steam. The game will cost 9.99, and it'll have a free demo as well. So yeah. Thank you for being interested in the progress of my game, and I hope to have your continued support.
