Fanart Friday #1 - Humble Beginnings

Hey, everyone! I've got a new series of journal that I'm making. It's called Fanart Friday! Over the years while I've been conceptualizing this game, I've received fanart from a lot of my friends. Shocking, to be sure! I never thought I'd see the day where someone likes my series enough to draw a character from it. It's so cool! So, I'm making this journal series as a thank you to those people. I cherish every single piece of fanart done for my series, even if I don't like the content. It's the thought that counts, I think.

This week's featured fanart is... this gif of Gavin by SirEdigarious on Deviantart. (Also known as: ShrimpAreFrench!)

Isn't it really cool? I'm still trying to figure out a way to implement it in my game's fanart gallery somehow, gifs are troublesome for Unreal Engine. But yeah, it's a gif of Gavin. Ain't that cool? As far as I know, SirEdigarious is still active on DA, though I might be mistaken. It's so hard to navigate the site nowadays that I can't see any new art from people.

Now, I know for a fact that she isn't active on DA anymore, so I'm not sure where you can find her art nowadays. But I really loved her pastel style that she had. It's pretty much the opposite of my art style, haha. Contrast is good, too.

That's about all for this week's Fanart Friday! If you want to send me any, email me using the contact form on this site, or join my discord server and post it in there. I am no longer active on Deviantart for many reasons, so if you send me something on there I won't see it. Most fanart sent in will be in the fanart gallery in my game! Now, what do I mean by "most"? Anything that isn't X rated. Don't send me that. You can draw it, I don't care. But don't send it to me unless you want to be called unsavory names.

If you were curious, I'm not using any of That Man's art in my game, or posting it here. I don't support what he's doing, and I refuse to give him any publicity. That's all I'm saying on the matter.
