Fanart Friday #2: Arcane Warrior!

Hey guys! It's that day of the week again. Time for another Fanart Friday! Yes, I know, I'm posting this rather late. If you want to know why... I got back into playing otomes. Haha! I was working on my game today, but got tired of it and wanted to take a break, so I ended up searching for some new ones to play. And HOLY COW bros, I found it. The holy grail of otomes. Want to know what it's called? The Bell Chimes for Gold. HOLY COW. I KNEEL to the dev. Not only are all the guys you can date middle aged dudes (extremely rare in otomes, the only other one I know of is Pub Encounter,) it also has JRPG gameplay. Yes, really! Two of my most favorite things in one game?! It's AWESOME!!!!! And the character designs and art style...! Look at this, it's so cool.

So awesome! It's like 80s anime, but with it's own sort of twist on it. I love it! Otomes with unique art styles are rather rare. 99% of them have the same pretty boy bishonen style where all the guys have the same exact face. It's like... there really isn't any choice between who you pick then, right? Besides the personality. Well anyway, I played this game all day, and I will continue to until I get all the endings. Love my otomes, simple as! And I love that each character is his own class. For example, Walter is a Necromancer. Ohhhhh, so coooooool! Also, his voice makes me melt inside. It's so gravelly. Haha, he would fit perfectly as Ethan's mentor, I think!

Who better to show art of this week than my favorite character? Haha! Are you surprised that it isn't Joe? Of course, I like him too, along with my other characters, but Ethan's the first one I made. That, and he's my favorite class, too! Hint: his class is the title of this blog post.

Yeah, HaxBro is me. Actually, my name used to be TheHaxMan everywhere, before I became a game dev. Seriously though, doesn't it sound better than TheHaxWoman? Awful, just grim. TheHaxMan is a way better name.

Stay tuned for the next game update! Should be out... within the next week. We'll see. Haha, I haven't played otomes in a long time. Ever since I liked someone, I stopped playing them because it felt like it was cheating or something (even though we weren't dating.) Plus, I had no desire to envision being with anyone else. Wasn't the same for him though. Sad! Ah well, now I can play as many as I want without feelin' weird about it.
